MUSIC

Most worshippers attend Sunday Service mainly to listen to the message of God. Music on the other hand, does not only portray its function as an art, but also serves as a media of worship, fellowship and outreach for the congregation. An appropriately selected and designed hymns and lyrics can bring brothers and sister closer to God, to glorify Him and worship Him, through which Christ's faith and gospel can be shared.
In the early days, worship at the Gospel Hall was mainly served with traditional sacred music and hymns with the use of church pipe organ as accompaniment. As time passed and with the change of age group and language, Gospel Hall has now grown from one congregation into three congregations. Each congregation has its own praise and worship team. The Sunday morning service at the Wesley Church still retains its traditional choir presentation on the 4th Sunday of each month or for special services. During special occasion such as church anniversary, Easter and Christmas time, brothers and sisters from all three congregations would come together as a combined praise and worship group to prepare and practise for a music presentation at Sunday service or caroling.
