What is a spiritual vision? To put it simply, it is a mind that comes from God but requires believers to work hard. It is both the mind of God and the dream of man. It is good for both God and man.
All man has a dream and wish good things happen to them. It is also what most Chinese people wish each year on Chinese New Year. However, people's dreams may not necessarily benefit themselves or others. Even for those who has fulfilled his dream to get wealthy may not necessary feel the happiness with the money that has changed his life or given him a better life. Dreams can help one to attain power and fame. Unfortunately, when they finally get it, life may not become any more meaningful than before.
On the contrary, a life with a spiritual vision is completely different. The spiritual fruit produced by God's vision is beneficial to those who believe it. God emphasizes that we must have spiritual visions, like Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) says: If there is no vision, the people will perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Today, as spiritual people, we must have spiritual visions to see God's will in us. We must seek a spiritual vision from God that is also belonging to our church. It is because spiritual vision does not only belongs to individual but also to all groups. This year, our church will emphasize biblical teaching on unity and seek God's direction in various church ministries for our church. We will set a common goal and work together to accomplish this mission. If we can all work together toward a vision that God has set forth for us, it will definitely help us in spiritual growth. A vision that everyone sees through God will bring unity to the church, by the will of our lord Jesus Christ and as always by His prayer. Here, on behalf of the ministry team, I invite everyone to seek, work and grow together in the vision of God.
